Neutrals - OOTD

Hey guys! I'm back with another #ootd.

Today, I chose to create a pretty monochrome and neutral look.

I like to style neutrals with neutrals because basic color schemes, when put together, can either dress up or dress down the entire look.

For this #ootd, I chose to accessorize with various statement pieces to make it look like I put a little more effort into my overall outfit.

오늘은 뉴트럴 컬러 데일리룩!

가을이라서 그런지 색체농도가 약한 색감의 옷들을 주로 입게되더라구요! 

잘못하면 밋밋해 보일 수 있는 모노크롬룩을 포인트 악세사리들로 꾸며봤어요~

Top: This taupe sweater is the perfect Summer-to-Fall transition piece. The baggy fit and the loosely woven waffle knits allow the perfect amount of air circulation throughout the day.

토프색깔 (두더지색깔? 회갈색?) 니트 스웨터. 

아직 샌디에고의 낮은 덥답니다 ㅠ.ㅠ

햇빛 쨍쨍한 20-25도를 넘나드는 샌디 오전 날씨!!

덥긴 덥지만, 니트는 입고싶고...

배기니트는 공기가 그나마 좀 잘 통해서 뜨거운 샌디에서도 입을만하답니다~

Bottoms: These black slacks are my go-to pants for both formal and casual occasions.

I thought that the belt was appropriate because it defines my nonexistent waistline. Also, it makes the holistic look seem a little more put-together.

점점 사라져가는 허리라인 조금이라도 살려보겠다고 씨니는 오늘도 벨트를 합니다아...

Shoes: I decided to slip into my favorite pair of chunky sandals. I feel extremely powerful and badass in these shoes because of the crazy spikes on the straps. 

These sandals are definitely the edgier (literally) alternative for the Birkenstock Arizonas hehehoho

최근에 훔친(?) 물려받은(?) 엄마의 그때 그 시절 잇아이템.

예전에 아빠한테 선물로 받았다던 가죽 백팩.

3.) A chunky gold necklace adds edge and character.

Family Hang Out!

Earlier this week, my parents came down to San Diego to spend time with me. 

엄빠가 샌디에고에 날 보러왔다. 내가 많이 보고싶었눙가봉가? : 3

가깝지도 않은 거리인데도 불구하고 자주 자주 면회(?)ㅎㅎ... 와줘서 고마워요 <3

We grabbed lunch at one of my favorite places to eat here in SD: Rakiraki. If you're a fan of Japanese ramen/food and you haven't been to this place yet, GO! My personal favorite here is the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen! heh : 3

Then, we decided to go to Balboa Park!

Spontaneous decisions are the best kind of decisions.

샌디에고는 진짜 날씨 하나는 최고인거 같아요!

So beautiful.

Although most museums at Balboa Park have admission fees, the Timken Museum of Art has FREE ADMISSION. If you're someone who enjoys cultural activities but is on a college student budget, you should definitely check this place out!

Look, I found a fluffy creature. There's lots and lots of them at Balboa Park. 

귀요미 발견 ㅠㅠ 발보아 공원에는 귀여운 멍뭉이들이 많아서 좋다니까...

So refreshing~

벌써 10월 중순이지만 샌디의 햇빛은 아직 뜨거워요.

After Balboa Park, we headed downtown to Little Italy.

샌디에고 다운타운에는 리틀 이태리라 는 거리가 있어요. 코리아타운, 재팬타운, 차이나타운 만큼 크진 않지만 나름 이태리의 분위기를 담아놓았답니다~

리틀 이태리에 와서 피자를 안 먹어볼 수 없겠죠?

#GNO - OOTD

Hey loves!

Today, I will be showing you guys an outfit that I chose to wear to a girls' night out!

It is finally starting to cool down here in SD. Although low 70s may not be everyone's ideal Autumn weather, I thought that it was "chilly" enough to whip out my Fall essentials.

10월 중순. 아직 샌디에고 날씨는 여름여름해요 ㅠㅠ

추워봤자 햇빛 쨍쨍한 23도? 

그래도 가디건이랑 긴바지가 너무 너무 입고 싶어서...

오늘 아웃핏만은 가을가을.

TOP: I chose to wear a cropped white lace top with a beige grandpa cardigan. I thought that the dainty and feminine lace detailing on the shirt contrasted well with the shapeless nature of the grandpa cardigan. 

아기자기한 레이스 디테일이 들어가 있는 레이스 크롭탑! 

펑덩~하고 모양없는 할아버지 가디건이랑 매치해봤어요. 

가디건은 구제옷가게에서 3불 (3000원) 주고 샀어요ㅋㅋㅋ

질도 너무 좋고 따뜻해서 조금만 더 추워지면 정말 잘 입고 다닐거같아요! 

사소한 행복... :)

SHOES: I've been wearing the crap outta these minimalistic strap sandals since last year. I'm surprised they still look somewhat presentable LOL. Definitely my go-to shoes for literally any and every occasion. However, I'm in the market for a new pair of basic flat sandals, so let me know if there are any good deals out there~

Tonight, I went on a spontaneous dinner date to Karl Strauss Brewery & Restaurant (minus the brewery part) with two of my close girl friends, Melody (left) and Melissa (right). 

Love these ladies! We suh cyute :3

냠냠ing 히히...

Gelato for dessert! Melody got mocha and mediterranean, Melissa got mocha and vanilla w/lavendar, and I got pineapple w/basil! Omonomnom~

후식으로는 젤라또 젤라또 젤라또오~!
